Bart and Melissa are a sweet, wonderful couple. They were married in Hopkinsville, KY, in a beautiful Catholic church. Here are some shots that tell the small, side stories of the day. The full story is told by Evan Baines @http://www.evanbaines.com/wedding/melissa-barts-wedding/
This past Tuesday, I had the honor of photographing my friends Heather and her husband (cool guy) Steve in their home. If you can’t tell, Heather is a little bit pregnant. This is their first, so I consider it a double honor to shoot it. I’m happy with the end result largely because I encouraged them to be themselves and they delivered. That’s my definition of a successful shoot, anyway. They photos reflect the love these two have for one another and their anticipation of little Savannah, who I’ve been told will date one of my boys.
Jalen is the son of a great photographer and friend, Kesava (K) Anderson, who happens to shoot professionally as well (see http://www.yourfrozenmoments.com). His son, Jalen, wants to enter acting/modeling and so we teamed up several Saturdays ago to shoot a portfolio for him. He’s a natural. Really enjoyed it and wanted to share my favorites.
been trying to catch up on the blog lately and wanted to add to yesterday’s post-after visiting Knoxville, which is in East Tennessee, by the way, we went to Gatlinburg-rented a cabin in the mountains, very secluded and took some much needed r&r-first shot is our cabin, the rest my family
more to post but for now, wanted to share a shot from our visit to the Knoxville Zoo-interestingly, a bear was sleeping on the other side of the glass (see the black blob at my son’s feet)-i love the way the light falls off around my son’s tip-toed form
haven’t posted in a while and needed to! here’s a two-year-old shoot i did with Selah-at first, she wanted nothing to do with my lights and camera but after 15 minutes or so, she was good to go-we shot this at her house with mommy and my portable studio-also included a headshot of mommy (melissa)-great fun! enjoy
